Just passing this along to military and veterans. I just found out about this. Super easy to register and validate. I was able to verify by inputting some basic information that linked to USAA and it verified me instantly. Just about any online retailer that offers military or veterans discounts is linking to this. I connected my Primary Arms and Lowes account to it. They both give 10% discounts.

Chick Filet has a good veterans discount. I've started asking just about everywhere I go. If they offer it I'll take it.

Quite a few good discounts and several really good discounts. Some really good discounts on hunting related gear, if you dont know about them, The two “best” programs i know if are a program called expertvoice which has doscounts from major outdoors vendors that range from 10-50% and change all the time, have gotten some really good deals on that, and the program works easily and shipping is usually lightning fast.

The other is the ability to get pro-staff level at sitka gear, just send them your DD214 and they will extend a very generous discount as a member of their pro-staff. kuiu also will give a discount off their gear and clothing but it is less substantial than sitka, but it is something.

Dang, I had no idea the Lord's chicken gave a military discount. We spend a small fortune there so that is good to know!

I use mine at Lowes. With a home, a house in the country, and 2 rent houses, the discounts are meaningful. Home Depot, in my experience, doesn’t even tell their check out people about it or train them.

Without a sense of urgency, nothing ever happens.
