Saw the bill that passed the house yesterday which includes standard capacity magazine ban, mandated storage, age restrictions, and more.

With the run on mags that happened after sandyhook and it didn't even come this close to passing a ban, I'd say if you boys need/want some mags you better get to buying them.

I was actually looking for some more mags yesterday before the house passed it, I had several tabs open on my phone from different websites with mag deals. After hearing the news I went back and all the deals were sold out.

Just wanted to pass along a deal I found that still seems to be in stock. Magpul PMAG 30 Rounders

I bought ten ten-round magazines with my last AR build.

I don’t think it will pass, because of the magazines.

Well last time this happened people were selling a case of PMags on GB for several thousands of dollars. Think starting it off at 1 penny. It went insane. I bought 50 mags just now, in case I want to flip some later rofl

Loaded up (pun intended) on mags when Mr Potatohead took office last year. I didn't read the bill, does it also include pistol mags?

rofl this might be a way better investment than all my crypto purchases. Might cash out my crypto and by mags instead. But crypto is so far down right now I’d lose a lot of money if I cashed out.

I was one of those guys. Made stupid money selling guns and mags when I had my FFL back then. All my auctions started at a penny with no reserve. Bidders decided final price.

I do not take the house of represenatives seriously. Everything they do is political posturing for the election. They refused to take up a bill for enhanced security for the supreme court justices, Trying to smear republicans for Jan 6. Moderators would just put me on the wall of shsme for my thoughts alone I am not posting.

IMHO, all you'll see in the final version will be expanded background checks, raising the age to buy a semi, an end to ghost guns, and some form of red flag law.

If the later is passed, I hope people can sue the chit out of those who make unsubstantiated claims against them.

I don't think so...Manchin and Cornyn have already said they are not interested in punishing law abiding citizens with more regulations the criminals will ignore. We'll see....

This is a sort of bad news-good news email. The bad news is that the package of bills that I wrote about yesterday passed the US House of Representatives. I'm not happy either.

The good news is that CNN is reporting (both last night and as of three hours ago) that it is not expected to pass the US Senate. That's the good news.

I think the smart play here is to call Senator Cornyn and let him know how you feel about what's coming--you can use yesterday's email for reference. You can reach his DC office at 202-224-2934

Whether or not it's going to pass, I think it's time we communicate our feelings on these issues to the good Senator. Let's make SURE he knows where we stand.

This organization is not interested playing politics. We represent all parties and walks of life. The "R" in TSRA stands for "Rifle" not "Republican". We have members from both parties in our organizations.

The Constitution was established long before the Republican and Democrat parties existed. We stand for the Constitution and we are given all of our rights at age 18. We don't cherry pick those rights. Either you are old enough for all of them or you're not. The Constitution is clear about this.

I did not include Senator Cruz in this call to action because he has been EXTREMELY clear and consistent in his support of the 2nd Amendment.

Thank you all for your help and the many emails I have received from yesterday's message. As always, please feel free to hit "reply" on this email if there is something you want to tell me or ask me.

I don’t trust Cronyn at all he is a snake. I think it was under Trump maybe just when Mr Potatohead took office Cornyn as trying to do behind close door gun regs. I have just a little more faith in Manchin and the Dems need him to have a shot but then you have Susan Collins. So right now it’s just a guessing game.

I wonder about the Semi auto part of the bill. How is that written as semi auto rifle? If so that will cover all semi autos but not semi auto shotguns.

Pretty sure that's the plan and totally agree on Cornyn. I read yesterday that Manchin could support a ban.
