These things just don't learn that my hummingbird feeders are not out there for them.

Must be nice to have open season on them year round. Where I live, we don't have that luxury.

My Daisy 880 is not very fast, maybe 525 fps with a pellet. But it puts 5 of them under an inch. And at 30 ft. the critters are in danger.

I bought what is the equivalent to a .177 Diana Stormrider used for $125. Put's 7 shots in a dime at 50 yards with enough power to knock them clean out of the top of a tree. I was infested with them rascals to the point they where chewing on the house. I think I've put down at least a dozen or more so far this year.

They make ammo specifically for hunting for a reason! nidea

I use to give them a pass since I had oak tree and watching them was cool. That is till couple were on my roof and my dryer vent that goes out roof with no cover ended up with couple going down it! Outcome was two mummified rodents at the base of dryer smelling a bit rough...I did get new dryer and reason to open season on them. up

Brayden (Lazy L's Southern Comfort) you will be missed! You were more than a pet you were my reason to rise and return for many days! You were my rock!

Last I checked I had 42 lines scratched into a 2x4 in the shed by the window. Mostly with the 22 pellet gun, some with a 22 short and a few with the crossbow. 42 and you would think that I never killed even one. The place is loaded with them and so I just quit bothering and got a feeder with a cage and took the bird feeder down.
The problem with squirrels and corn is that they don't eat the whole kernel, they eat the little white pointed end and leave the rest so they never stop trying to get more out of the feeder.

I don't mind it when they eat a bit of the bird feed, but they chew the bee guards off of the humming bird feeders and sometimes I can't find them. Thats when they have to go.

They ruined the lid on a pool chlorine bucket I had pig bait mix in. They've taught me to put the bucket inside the feed shack...and to declare war on them around the house. I also have received hundreds of pictures of them at the pig corral trap. They are excellent training on how you should get out of whatever vehicle you're in very quickly and choot!

22 short colibri with no powder. (Sans poudre). Quieter than my pump up pellet gun.
