Nope we just finished removing mesquites and reseeding native grasses. Plenty of trees down in the creek bottoms though!

TX OutDoorsman heck of a view, what is the longest shot you have taken from your stand?

Nothing past 200 yards. If we see something worth getting out and stalking in the winter wheat we will get out! Roughly 80 acres of winter wheat (in fall) at the bottom of the hill.

Txoutdoor, our wheat is 80 as well. It’s 400 x 800 and surrounded by woods. It’s very huntable from either end with that layout.

Motex, some of ours looks kinda like that.
But some appears more open but the thick plum thickets are way over head high so the deer feel secure, yet from an elevated blind we can see over.
