I have never been to a concert. But I have seen Ray Price, Willie Nelson, and Charley Pride back in the 60s at some honky tonk dumps and dives. Willie Nelson used to have short hair and wear a suit on the band stand, The band stand also had chicken wire to stop the beer bottles. These places wee all dance halls, not concert venues,

Very few can sing, or play an instrument this slow. He was kickin' it on this back then.

Very few can sing, or play an instrument this slow. He was kickin' it on this back then. Just listened to this, he was one of a kind and timeless. Left way too soon. Sad

Yes. 5/29/1976 at the Myriad in OKC. First concert for a poor kid growing up on the farm, first time to hear 2001 A Space Odyssey.

No, but my Mom was a HUGE Elvis fan.
He died the year I was born.
I still listen to Elvis.

No, but my GF has been to many, she listens to his Gospel every morning. The guy was weird but a he77 of a singer and entertainer.

No but I’ve been to Graceland I was at Graceland the day he died, we were told he had been up all night playing raquet ball. I was young, and found a little door by the gate, I opened it and pressed a button and the gate opened up, His uncle came down and locked the small door where the entry button was.

Never saw a concert
Saw him at the deli counter at the little hole in the wall convenience store a couple of
months ago. Ordered 4 peanut butter and banana sandwiches and a package of
the white powdered sugar mini donuts. Polite man. Said " Thank You. . . Thank You very much"

He grew up just across the river from me and did a concert in the high school auditorium.

When my Mom was a teenager living in Plainview, she and her sister would drive down to the Cotton Club in Lubbock to see Elvis when he performed there.
coffee spelled backwards is eeffoc. I don't give eeffoc until I have my morning coffee.

One of my customers ( now deceased) was his hair dresser for a while in the early days.
I got on an elevator in Las Vegas with a half dozen Elvises ( what is the plural of Elvis ? Elviy ?)
turns out there was a Elvis impersonator convention in town.
