Wytex's recent post about his new S&W Model 57 got me to thinking about my love for good wheel guns. Thought I'd share a few of mine with the THF with a little background on some of them. (Picture is a little distorted in wide angle view)
Post up some of your favorites. Let's see 'em.
Long live the wheel gun.

Sweet collection 83, it will take a bit to get all of ours out. Not sure where a couple might be hiding actually. We're lacking on S&Ws though I know that. Gave a nice .22 to our son down in Texas so the 57 is our only S&W now.
I really like wheel guns and this thread is chalk full of some beauties! I got this K frame Mod 10-2 M&P 38 Special from my Father-In-Law. It was made in 1961 and had only been shot a few times. Smooth as butter!
The family favorite is my Great Grandfathers Colt. He was a Deputy Sheriff in Gainesville and this was his sidearm
Here's another, my Dad's duty weapon for 30 years. This K Frame in .38 was bought in 1963 when he hired on and carried the duration of his time as a Police Officer. I shoot this one from time to time also. Stories, a lot of stories with this one.
An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.
I have a model 19 performance center, model 65 4”, model 49 humpback and just bought a model 65 3”. Don’t have pictures of the 65 4” and it is my favorite revolver. Now saving for a model66.
From left to right, Ruger sp101, Ruger Blackhawk, Ruger Vaquero, Hi Standard Sentinel, and S&W j Frame. All 3 Rugers are 357. Hi standard is a 9 shot .22, and the S&W was my Grandfather's carry when he was Police Cheif in Pawhuska.
