Looking for some help selling a tractor
My father-in-law (he is an old dude) has a 2018 Kubota L2501 tractor, 4wd It has an LA525 front end loader. 140 hours 5ft shredder Foam in the tires
I am not a tractor guy but I want to help him sell this, I may post it here.
Does anyone know how to price this?
I know we had a tractor dealer guy on here but I cannot remember his name.

Look on tractorhouse.com. Mostly dealer listings, but most list the hours on equipment so it should give you a ballpark value.

When you figure out a price let me know, the boss wants a small tractor to use around the new house and I’d prefer to buy a used one that I know the history on.

This guy is pretty knowledgeable. That tractor is pretty popular with NO DPF system on it. It does not have to go through a regeneration cycle like the L3301 and L3901. Kubota dealerships have almost no inventory on their lots just like car dealerships. Supply and demand is crucial right now. Don`t be afraid to price it high. You can always come down. I have a 2015, L3901 with 70 hours on it and I wouldn`t be afraid to price it for almost what I paid for it.

Thanks, that helps. He can't remember what he paid for it. It doesn't matter what you paid for it. What matters is what you get for it.

Very good little tractors and 140 hours is barely broke in. He probably gave ~$18K for that one in 2018. (I paid $20K in 2018 for the next size up) But good used tractors are hard to come by so he should be able to get nearly what he gave for it IMO.
