Some neat little towns in Mexico that would be neat to visit. One of my nieces is from Zacatecas and the pictures she sends are very similar.

That’s closer to Tampico. I’m way down near Querétaro now. Not far from the airport. Nice place to end the week with a cold one.

Have always enjoyed Zacatecas in the colonial and main plaza area. It’s really very nice with historical architecture.

Would love to visit San Miguel de Allende some day. It’s a very colonial historic city and has hotels with hot spring pools.

The mountainous city of a thousand doors - have heard so much good about it. Maybe this summer.

Bernal is my last name, and I was born in Mexico. I have heard of this before and have seen pictures. Now, I am curious as to my relation to the family this was named after. Guess I have to ask my historian sister.

Thanks for posting!

Is that guy going to work on an air conditioner or going to cook some meth?

Silver spurs and gold tequila
keep me hanging on.
