While there still isn’t as many models available as in years past, the stores are able to keep a good supply of firearms on their shelves for much longer now. While I wouldn’t say it’s as if everyone in the free world has enough firearms to satisfy their needs, I have to believe the impact of inflation on the price of everything else has people reconsidering if it’s time to add another firearm to their collection. I mean, I can see someone thinking how many times they can fill up their vehicle on what they’ll spend for another firearm.

Still some stuff that’s harder to get but I’m seeing pretty full shelves and ammo in common calibers. But prices have definitely gone up.

I don’t think it has, supply is keeping with demand now. Every time I go to Academy, BPS/Cabelas there are folk buying their limit. Most if not all makers are fully open.

Weatherford academy still doesn’t have a semi-auto rifle in stock. Didn’t think they changed their policy so assume the crazy is still going on.

Went by my local gun shop today... Owner said its been the slowest two weeks that he can remember.
I think these gas prices and inflation maybe catching up to the average gun buyers...

I think these gas prices and inflation maybe catching up to the average gun buyers... I overpaid for some 6.5CM ammo because I needed it for a class, that's the only thing I've bought since March of 2020 that's I paid inflated prices for. Curious to see what happens when demand drops.

Title says panic GUN buying not panic powder and primer buying or panic ammo buying. Prices are down on guns or the sales aren't happening. That means panic GUN buying has slowed.
Pass the gravy.

I stopped in at the Graham Walmart last Friday and saw that their gun case was filled with long guns. I didn't look carefully to see what exactly was in stock, but I hadn't seen that level of supply in years.

There's been about six boxes of Winchester 30-06 Deer Season ammo on the shelf at my local Walmart for about a week now. That's probably a good sign the panic buying has at least dropped off its peak.

This all depends on which firearm you are looking for. Run of the mill Glock, Springfield, Canik, SIG, no problem.
A few defiantly have a panic buy aura around them.
