Staying in the North American Continent, chose ONE rifle, ONE shotgun, and ONE pistol you'd love to get your hands on. Manufacturer, caliber, finish... all of it (regardless of price). Get as detailed as you need to. Which 3 firearms are you taking out to hunt?!?

I'll do mine first, and then all the realistic folks can chime in.

Pistol - 629 S&W with 6 1/2 barrel in 44 Rem. Mag.

Shotgun - Any good, well built 10 gauge side x side double with 32 inch, full x full, or full x modified barrels.

Rifle - 375 H&H Interarms Mauser with 6x Cabela's Pine Ridge scope shooting hand loads with 250 grain Barnes "X" bullets.

Oh, and not meaning to steal your thread, but everybody will want at least one 22, mine would be a Model 60 Marlin.

Now is this stuff we'd like to have along with what we already have?

If so..................

ruger Model 77 blued/wood stock in .458 win mag. They don't make em any more, but I would be tickeled to find one.

Shotgun.......... Hmmmmmmmmmmm...........gonna have to think on that one.

pistol............prolly a ruger redhawk in 44 mag

Now if this does not include the stuff we already have......

rifle....Ruger Model 77 chaimbered in .338 win mag, blued/wood stock

shotgun.........Mossberg 835 ulti mag

pistol......Glock 20 ( 10 mm)

AS far as a 22 I love chc's Stevens favorite single shot. that would be my choice there. I'd love to have his 35 whelen too.

I can't decide on rifle. I could live with one pistol or shotgun, but not one rifle.
pistol-a really nice (engraved) ruger vaquero with stag handle. .357 caliber.
Shotgun- classic side by side engraved 20 gauge maybe by fox,LC smith or another classic maker.

Rifle: I wanted a Remington 700 LSS in 300 win mag. now they make in with a thumbhole stock. top it with a leupold 4x12x40.
shotgun: I allready have it. Beretta 12ga 390 camo auto.
pistol: Ruger redhawk Alaskan in 454 casull. WOW a snub nose 454 and will shoot 45colt also.
The last 22 i bought was a stainless Ruger 10/22 paired with a 3x9x40. 30 round clip = fun fun fun
I think the dream team needs a 22 pistol. S&W model 422. if yall are lucky enough to have a 422 or 622, then ya know why i picked it. 4X4

Hmmm....

I'll take my Glock .40 strapped to my leg,

.357 Colt Python slung across my chest,

Benelli M1 w/ tube extension

Wiseman .300 RUM for the longshot

.50 cal w/ armor piercing loads (you did say dream arsenal, right?)...btw- these would only be needed should Al-Qaeda decide to show their face in my neck of the woods...

And I'd HAVE to have some type of azz-rippin automatic to cause some MAJOR havoc!!!

Rifle- Weatherby Ultramark Custom in 264 win mag or 8mm remmy mag, cant decide

Shotgun- belgian browning sweet sixteen grade III NIB

Pistol- Kimber 38 super

And as I varmint and yote hunt, a Les Baer custom with dual uppers in 224 weatherby and 6mm/06

As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind...Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks--Thomas Jefferson

I already have them so i don't know if this really counts.

Mark V 300 Weatherby

Winchester 101 20 ga XTR Pigeon Grade Featherweight- English Stock

Smith and Wesson 5 screw K-22 6 inch

I almost picked my 7 1/2 inch Ruger 44 SS Hunter as my pistol of choice.

Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

My rifle would be a Weatherby Mark 5 in 300 weatherby mag, blued with wood stock.

Shotgun would be a Mossberg 500 12 gauge (this gun has served me well for many many years)

Pistol Tuarus 44 mag with 4" ported barrel in stainless.

I have both the shotgun and pistol. I hope to have the rifle by next hunting season.

Where I am at right now, we all have AK 47's by the bed, so my view might be a bit twisted.

rifle - .308 bull barrel glass bedded

pistol - 1911A 40 cal (yeah, I know- old school)

shotgun - Rem 870 express mag

Sako Finnbear 30-06- very accurate and plenty of power for anything I'll ever hunt
Browning Light 12-fits me and always works
HK USP 45-I like antiques, but not when my life depends on it

For the .22 bonus Question there is only 1 answer
Winchester Model 63

Per the question that started the thread..."Dream Arsenal for Hunting on the North American Continent":

Rifle: Weatherby Mark V 300 WBY Mag

Shotgun: Benelli SBEII 12 gauge

Pistol: Smith and Wesson Model 629 .44 Mag

Can pretty much hunt anything, anywhere in North America with those three...
