Below is a very good analysis and explanation why implementing a no fly zone over Ukraine is a bad idea. The entire discussion is great but the no fly zone discussion starts at the 34:00 mark.

Also discussed are the challenges of providing Polish Mig 29s to Ukraine. Modifications would have to be made to remove NATO encryption from the aircraft and the layout of controls is different than those of Ukrainian Mig 29s. It would take weeks/months to make them combat capable.

I don’t know what the current day Ukraine Air Force looks like. Last I heard was 90 aircraft destroyed and they have about 50 planes left.

We have all worked around people who will give 100 reasons why we can’t do something. But when the right person says get it done, magically it gets done overnight.

If I were Poland, I would certainly help Ukraine. F Russia.

It Sounds like giving them my 100 armed drones would help them out.

Because it’s one step closer to WW3 which is a terrible thing.

I don't think it will matter, "shorty" is currently cornered like a mad dog. His pride will not let him lose, either some Russian takes him out, or he will just get worse, losing is not an option for him. He would rather try to destroy the world than admit defeat. If he just ups and quits the attack, the powers to be in Russia will dispose of him, either demote or execute.

I think you are right. You get a person that does not know how to loose backed into a situation that does not work for him all bets are off.

I guess the biggest concern is having General Milley in control of anything.

Because to gain air superiority, you have to take out air defense systems IN Russia.

Boycotts work.

Exactly. The other point he made is the potential of fracturing the global alliance of countries that have voiced outrage against Russia.
