So I'll admit I've never been a Glock fan, I appreciate the platform but the grip angle has never worked for me. Recently won a XR920, and I like it a lot. Need recommendations on a OWB holster with optic and light.

It's essentially a Guccified Glock 19 so any Glock 19 holster will work fine. By the way, you know they are a Plano company? Great bunch of guys and great guns. Earl

How is the grip angle changed, inserts or grip is built at a different angle. I too do not like the Glock grip angle.

They come with a two backstraps as far as I know. One with a hump like a Glock, and a flat one. Mine has the flat one installed and it points and fits much better than my Glock.

Phlster floodlight is my go-to OWB light-bearing holster. basically fits any gun with a TLR-1 or Surefire X300 on it, and no interference with red dots mounted aft the ejection port. Its also compatible with the Safariland QLS system, which means you can make it work at several heights with any belt you can dream up

If I wasn't already invested in a couple Springfield XDMs I'd try a Shadow Systems. Plus I like they are right here in Plano.

Your gorilla hands are to big for a 19:size grip

Do they make a 17 size that would fit me better or should I just stay with the XDMs? I really do like the XDMs compared to anything else I've handled.

They do make a 17 size one now. It is the DR920.

Big Fitz the DR920 is the G17 size and the MR920 is the G19 size. As far as would you like it more than any other particular pistol; we know how that goes. Holsters are Glock compatible from my experiences.

I was an early adopter of the MR918 series. I started with a stock Combat and loved it. It didn't take long to get an Elite, then a Long Slide Elite. The xx920 series has some very nice upgrades; from an already excellent pistol. I can't justify upgrading from what I have. However, if I was buying a pistol today; there is no question that it would be an MR920 Elite. I have a few Sigs in the safe and sold/traded everything else.

Any holster that’ll fit Glock 19 and your weapon light. Here’s my MR920 in a LAS Glock 19 Ronin-L

I really want one of the new CR920's released at Shot Show. Will probably pick one up as soon as they are available. I also liked the looks of the new P365 XL Spectre Comp.

Dang didn’t know they were coming out with these. Might have to grab one for carry and retire the MR920 to bedside gun. But I’m pretty partial to the MR920 so I’d need some hands on the new one before I ordered. Subcompact Glocks does not fit my hands at all.
