For those of you that feed deer, a larger feeder would probably pay for itself in just a trip or two.

I drive 190 miles round trip to work everyday. I don’t have a choice, almost $400 a month now.

Back in 1980 I had a job that I drove 120 miles round trip 5 days a week. I was reimbursed for for truck expense. I asked my Dad to borrow a gas credit card to use itl I got my expense check. I drove a ‘79 F150 4x4 with A/T, and filled up 5 days a week. When the first credit card bill came in it was $300. Needless to say, Dad asked for the card back, and payment. I was applying for my own gas card the next day.

Trying to drive a lil slower if doesn't impede traffic and no unnecessary trips to town. Truck gets 15mpg and possibly a new job in the next few weeks. Will be around 70 mile round trip so lookin at 20 bucks a day for gas.

I’m fortunate in that I have a company truck that I am allowed to drive for personal trips (except towing). Pretty much the only time my personal truck leaves the driveway is when the boat is behind it. I am fishing a lot closer to home, though.

Is the Jeep a Wrangler? I have a 2018 Wrangler that doesn't do as well as the 2021 Hemi gasser. The Jeep is about as aerodynamic as a shoe box.

My ‘68 Bronco is like a rolling brick. Have to run it on 93 octane, and it gets 10mpg. Thank goodness I only fill up every 3 months.

I drive 60-65 when I can…. It always have. When driving for work I cover ground as fast as I can and hope the mileage rate keeps pace with the prices.

I drive about the same as before. Luckily hunting season is winding down. I traveled all over this last season, provably 10k plus miles. If prices were than were the price now I think I would have canceled a couple of the trips.

What gets me is how fast gas prices go up when crude goes up but how slow it goes down when the price of crude goes down.

Last week at my local HEB, the gas price dropped 14 cents from Wednesday to Friday, which yeah it never drops that quick.

Driving habits won't change much for me. My office/warehouse is only a few miles from home and I only go there 2-3 days per week. Boating habits HAVE changed.

I tend to burn a lot of gas in the boat so now I will stay out of the throttle! I burn 10.5 gallons per hour wide open and 1-2 gallons per hour cruising slowly. So my afternoon "beer cruises" and "early morning coffee runs" for 30-45 minutes can be managed - slowly. It's an old pontoon boat, but it came with the house and it just keeps running. Life in the cheap seats isn't fancy, but I like it.

I just set the cruise at 8 over and go. I either drive 14 or 28 miles a day. I didn't buy a Tundra to get good mileage, I drive to get where I'm going, comfortably. Needed to go to three beauty pageants 80 miles away this past weekend, friend girl made it worth it! banana bounce
