I shot this little fella Tuesday morning for the second time. First time was two weeks ago. Really low light. I thought I hit him low, clipping the brisket but couldn't find my arrow. Turns out I hit him in the front part of the shoulder and the bone angled the arrow up and out the top of his neck but was in him with the broadhead sticking out.
I saw him at my feeder as I went in Tuesday and I snuck up as close as I could. When he circled close looking for corn (feeder hadn't thrown yet) I sent one at him from on my knees. He dropped in sight. Walking up on him I saw the arrow I shot him with a couple weeks ago and I pulled it out thinking, this is not the arrow I shot.
Both arrows were broken so he cost me about $20 in arrows shafts. Tough critters pigs are.
Moses wanted in on the photo op. He thinks he is a dog so dead pigs don't bother him.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.

Looks like he was still in good shape and fat. Sometimes shots are not what we expected them to be or though we saw.

Congrats on getting him
