After our North Dakota clients flights were canceled last minute they decided to make the 18 hour drive down to west Texas instead to not miss their hunt. On only a couple of hours of sleep we were still able to make the 1st day hunt. Less than an hour into the hunt we had a really nice ram down and passed on several others. As the sun was setting this giant ram was glassed up 2 canyons over just over 1,000 yards away. A hell of a hustle was made to close the distance before dark and a perfectly placed shot was made that sealed the deal. This is what we call a Monarch ram. A big congratulations to all.
