I'm interested in the Wrangler but the reports of poor accuracy make me leery. Does anyone own or have experience with the Wrangler? If so, how does it shoot? Not looking for target accuracy but don't want to have to hold 4 inches low and to the left either. Thanks in advance.

Have a birdshead model for the kids to plink with. it’s not a very accurate pistol at all. It’s fun and the kids like It though. At 5 yards it’s fine, stretch It out a little and it’s terrible. At 25 yards I was missing 5” steel plate by a foot. And that wasn’t the shooter.

I’ve had two and both were fairly accurate in my opinion. Both were when they first came out so things may have changed since. Had no issues hitting cans at about 25

My model has a shorter barrel I think. That may make It worse

I have a pair, they will shoot about a 2” group low 2” and 1” left they both do this off sand bags.. several flavors of ammo always low and left.
Function wise they are great, lots of fun for the money.

I must be lucky and have an accurate one. Shoots high, but easy to adjust to.

Thanks for the responses. Your experience reflects basically the same results as the other reviews and videos I have read and/or watched.
There seems to be a lot of these guns that shoot high or low which is not that uncommon with fixed sights but the number that shoot far to the left or right seem to be out of proportion to any other fixed sight gun I have ever come across.
I have a Super Single Six from the 70s so I don't think I am going to gamble $200 bucks on a Wrangler just to have something new. Thanks again.

If you can find one look for the "double-nine" made by high standard. Mine is very accurate. Edit : I paid 89 bucks out the door at Cabelas 16 years ago (used) did not know how much they went up in price. I have this exact same model https://www.gunbroker.com/item/920958308

high and low is not that big of a deal. Fixed sight guns like the wrangler(6 guns), it is normal to have to tilt the front sight either right or left. doesn't take that much. Lots of people look at old guns and think the guns had been abused and dropped many times just because the front sight is slightly bent. Most of the time it was intentionally bent.

How much accuracy were you expecting from a sub $200 pistol?

How much accuracy were you expecting from a sub $200 pistol? I expect "minute of sweet gum ball" at 10 yards. I have read that the Wrangler sights are "supposedly" regulated at 15 yards. Apparently some are and some...aren't.
