It's hell dealing with a lazy doctor's office staff. 'Worse when it's your spouse. I don't know how those bitches sleep at night. Man, I could go on and on about DR's office staff. Has gotten much worse the last few years. Doctors have been great, but those desk sitters...

Yep. I love my doctor, but hate her office staff and will most likely switch physicians just because I can't stand her staff. She is a middle aged Indian lady and very cool...probably the only physician I've had as my doctor that I like. I like the urologist I got for my best friend, so when I need one, he'll be the one I go to for that, but finding a GP I like has been a PITA.

Forney is pretty questionable in a few places. Nobody has made it in the parking lot yet without taking several tries. Hope my relief makes it. I’m ready to go.

Thin ice on the back porch here south of Menard. I learned my lesson last year and am not gonna venture further out until much later! Few things make you feel older than falling on your buttocks. Looks like I'm unhitching the trailer and trying to creep down the hill to IH10 later today.

All the ice on our tree limbs has gone. Melted off I suppose, but don’t know how that happened if the temp didn’t go over 31 degrees. The wooden entry to my barn workshop is super slippery. Almost got me.
Got the fireplace going. I am already super bored. Got nuthin to do. I’d be happier if I did have a task today that I could stall doing…like most days. Got no pigs on the place these days, so nothing to hunt.
Not my monkeys, not my circus...

Went on our daily walk around 7:50 this am, a short walk that was slippery and crunchy, we had the whole place to ourselves.

I was going to go get some donuts this morning. Everything looked wet. Well I took one step on the inclined part of the driveway and fell flat on my rear end and then proceeded to slide the rest of the way down to the street. I laughed and looked around just to make sure nobody saw me. No donuts this morning.

Cooked another huge pot of chicken noodle soup Oh man, do you have a recipe for this? Sure Head of celery 1 pound of baby carrots 1 yellow onion 2 48oz chicken broth 1 rotisserie chicken 1 pound of egg noodles Salt Pepper Cumin Coriander Basil Parsley Bay leaves Chop all the veggies and add to a large stock pot with garlic and olive oil. Let it sauté while you pull all the meat from the rotisserie chicken. After about 7-10 minutes of the veggies sautéing add the chicken stock. Bring to a boil and add the species. I don’t measure I just kind of eyeball it and taste as I’m going. Once it has boiled a few minutes add the noodles. Cook the noodles as directed. When there is 1-2 minutes left on the noodles add the chicken. Let it rest 5-10 minutes and it’ll warm the chicken without cooking it any further.
