Does anybody know if he's still making and selling knives? I know he hasn't been on THF in a while but I've wanted one of his knives for a long time.

He's still making knives as of about a year ago. I commissioned a couple from him well over a decade ago. Gave the Flame Maple one away in a hunting contest I was running and regret not replacing it in my collection. I think you should still be able to reach him via his facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/kimmo.k.liljaLet us know if you score one of his blades.
