This evening I visited with junfan68. Seems like a real nice guy. We were talking about Snipe hunting and I wanted to show him some pictures of what it is about. Sorry this will be boring for the old salts on the forum who have already seen them. But here they are.

I got snipe fever so bad, I was working out my hunting finances last month and I put four boxes of #7 steel down for the "just in case" snipe that show up on a duck hunt and forgot ALL about steel for teal.

When I was taken Snipe hunting, it was dark, in a field and a brown paper sack... confused2 dunce

Me to, unfortunately me and my cousin had just watched the movie wolfen, a scary movie back in the 80's. I remember my uncle telling me as they walked away to shake that sack.

Awesome pictures. I had seen pictures of that bird but had no idea what they were.

To me a snipe was as mentioned above something hunted at nite with a sack laugh

Is that a Smith and Wesson 12 guage? If so, I believe they are discontinued and that is an AWESOME shotgun! My dad has one and it's very light and sweet shooting.
