I dont think I have ever read a book but have come across numerous websites. Here is a couple that should have a lot of info. Tips, dont get lost in gadgets, gidgets, and magic potions. All you need to do is keep it simple. With the almanac website I believe you put in your zip code and you will get info tailored to your area.

Not specifically for NTX. But Carrots Love Tomatoes is a good companion planting book.

not a book but your local feed store is prolly good info. the customers buying onion sets and seeds. i was in wolfe city today, didnt think to look for feed store, bought some onion sets last week in terrell.
