Some people have terminal family members they would like to visit and not put in the ground prematurely. I'll give this so called cold I have now to anyone who wants it. It's a lot of fun after 13 days of non stop coughing and trying to breath.

5 years ago, 10 years ago, or today - if you are sick and have a terminal family member....you aren't going to go visit them. Not in the past and not today. COVID hasn't changed that.

So again - what is the point of testing?

Bingo. Testing should only be needed if you're sick enough to be admitted to the hospital.

Just like people who get excited about getting a tax refund. All they did was let the government use their money. Not very bright.

I get a refund some years, has nothing to do with my withholdings and everything to do with deductions. Those years I get excited about not paying in.

I have an acquaintance who was obsessed with getting covid tested. It seemed like he was always looking for an excuse. "someone I was in the same room with 6 weeks ago has covid, I better go get tested" yada yada yada. He came off as all giddy when he finally got a positive hit on one of those tests. I don't think he had any symptoms with it either. I swear there is some sort of psychological social media me too covid kind of thing going on with a segment of the population and they don't want to be left out.

Why the LOL? Great Britain would be one example. (They are not a third world country.)

No kidding Sherlock. But having allergies which this crap started out like usually wouldn't have kept me in the house until it did. I took one test as I was getting worse after a week. Luckily got inhalers and stuff and the bricks are off my chest now and I can breath and go back to normal next week hopefully. My kids have it and they have to test negative to go back to school. They don't have to wear masks luckily. What are we supposed to do? But yes everyone's going to get it eventually so test is just a personal preference. Should not be used like some mention cause they just knew someone with it and drove by their house.

Removing mandates is a great move, IMO. Let people decide for themselves what they think is best for them. I wish our government would do the same.
