Anyone else find they have to clean up after each shot? I can feel with the rod it’s pretty grungy down there as it takes a bit of pressure

I am shooting the 777 pellets that are pretty dirty. Was going to switch to white hots but from what I been hearing not a lot of difference. Guess I need to go to Blackhorn 209 loose powder cause they say it is really clean burning

I have been using BH209 for at least 10 years possibly more. It’s only downside is it’s loose powder but you get used to it. I put the powder, bullet and sabot in speed loaders. Nothing I know of burns as clean and you can do multiple firings without cleaning. The pellets are a little easier to work with but not much. When 777 first came out, I tried it and immediately dismissed it as being almost as messy as Pyrodex.

^^^Im not that experienced but from what I have learned and experienced the BH209 is the way to go. Huge difference on the cleaning.

I’m going to try the 250 Powerbelts once I’m truly dialed in. I should have something down soon, my place is overrun with pigs right now.
