Spent a little time in the kitchen this evening. Followed Kent Rollins recipe and they came out fantastic. Ran the steaks through my Weston tenderizer first.
Plenty of leftovers for tomorrow.

Funny, I did the exact same thing this weekend after a buddy gave me some elk. I mix my mashed potatoes, gravy, and corn all together and have since I was a child.

Haha. That's the only way to eat kernel corn with a fork!!

Hang on! That "Corn in a cup" the Mexican food trailers around here have is something else. And, there a number of ways that I have no doubt you could change, modify, whatever to it and it would be outstanding. I know my wife has. Out of curiosity I just Googled "Corn In a Cup" and there are a lot of variations.

John, I bet they serve that in heaven. That'd be right up there with one of my favorite meal combinations. My diabetes doctor told me not to eat anything that tasted good. She said if it tastes good spit it out.... it's not good for you, I said Are you trying to get fired. LOL I'd love that meal and leftovers.... yum! Chicken fried elk samiches would hit the spot for the next day!
