Went down by our fish pond yesterday and found what I believe to be some 'Wild Corndogs'?
They look a little different than the ones I buy at the store, but thinking about tasting one.
IDK....maybe try them out on the kids first? Wild: Store Bought:

I actually did prank my kids with this a few years ago. After my little girl finished spitting about 20 times and got all the fluffy little seeds out of her mouth, she looked at me with the most disgusted look on her face and threw it down. I had her convinced they were wild corndogs.

Several parts of that plant are actually edible. I’m guessing some are more palatable than others….

Several parts of that plant are actually edible. Sounds like Euell Gibbons in the old Grapenuts commercials.

That would be a lot worse than sticking a dandelion seed head in someone’s mouth!

That would be a lot worse than sticking a dandelion seed head in someone’s mouth! Especially how those things explode when they are ready to pop.
