Had 3 of these timers set up this past season. We were using them in the 600lb broadcast feeders. They were eating through batteries in more than a couple weeks. This was a 12volt system too.Called asf and they said needed to upgrade my solar panel to use one like theirs or comparable. So we ordered 3 from them and installed them. It helped but still was getting 2months at best out of a single 12volt battery. I switched everything back to the ASF THE TIMER and haven't had a problem yet. Just wanted to provide my experience incase y'all have any. Open to suggestions as well. I still have the timers and love the remote control aspect. and setting new times on your phone.

The solar panel must get a lot of sunlight to keep the battery charged and make sure the FeedSync is in battery saver mode.
