Having trouble with cattle and donkeys getting into our feeder pens and plots. Damn cows are jumping over the hog panels and can’t get barb wire tight enough to keep them out. Considering adding a hot wire to the top with a solar charger to keep them out.

Anyone have experience or advice with this type of setup?

Use the hot wire out away from the pen. Keep all the corn inside the hot wire pen. You can do a 2 wire hot wire fence or single wire. Deer will jump over it or go under it.
