i'd like to offer a fully guided small game, predator, or varmint hunt to one or more wounded warrior(s) from the El Paso/Fort Bliss area...or to any wounded warrior who can take care of their own transportation and lodging...or "hang loose" while we find someone who can.

This is an awesome thing that y'all do for these warriors. I don't think we could ever show enough appreciation for what they do and affording us the opportunities that comes with freedom. GREAT JOB GUYS!!!!!

heck guys, i'm a totally disabled desert storm veteran myself. my whole family is military including my wife, who deploys to iraq this fall. i've spent the past 3 years teaching wounded troops how fly fishing and tying flies can help them recover. now i've got a fantastic 38k acre hunting lease an hour from the fort. so i thought it might be a good opportunity to take 1 or 2 of them hunting, too. no big deal. "do unto others..." ya know?

Hello and you are doing a grand thing folks! I am laying here typing this in a cast after my second surgery on my foot, ankle, lower leg. My third surgery will be in the middle of October which is taking me out of me out of the woods for a bit as I can not put any weight on my leg at all.
Your offers for hunts are phenominal and as a wounded warrior I appreciate fine folks like yourselves. I am working with Tink Nathan, original founder of Tink's 69 in promoting healing through archery with Operation Bows for Heroes which is doing the same things you folks are. Please keep doing what you are doing and from a wounded soldier, thank you.

Pduck I want to thank you for your Service. Your welcome to hunt with the Hunting with Soldiers Program anytime. Also I want to ask if you are going to need a cane for a long period of time. If so, I would be honored to make you one from Mesquite.

Hmmmmm! Multi-purpose cane, I LIKE IT!!!!! They are also helpful in turning on and off some appliances that are slightly out of reach. Not that I would know anything ABOUT THAT.

father of 4,
I would be most grateful for a cane made by you. I am not sure when I will progress to a cane as I am still in a cast till my next surgery in mid October, which will put me in a cast again till the end of December or early January. During the entire time I am not allowed to put weight on my leg and have to use either crutches or my wheelchair.
Please PM me with any details you need for a cane and when I can walk I will be honored to use it.
Now as for hunting, greatly appreciated! I have a good friend here in Illinois who paid a farmer to leave corn standing for me and will be putting a blind up in the corn for me to bowhunt in. Have another friend in Kentucky who is going to drive me up to a blind so I can hog hunt with him.
Your spirits and generosity is overwhelming to me and I am sure many others.
From the bottom of my heart,
Thank you.

I am Honored to do it. Just tell me how long your legs are from the bottom of your foot to your hip. I will make it that long. I will be looking in the Mesquite and try and find a good one. It may take a minute or 4 tries but one has to stand out to me before I find it. If I cant picture a cane then I dont cut it. God Bless you for your Service my Friend.

I've had to discontinue this offer due to instability between the 2 ranchers who partner on this property.
