Anyone have a big dogg blind? Made in Conroe Texas.

My experience with the Big Dogg 4X6. We got three of them when they were $200 cheaper and had the door moved to the 6 ft side. We also had small shelves added in the front corners. Matt didn’t charge us for those mods but I understand those are extra now. We had the rear shooting shelf removed on the door side to gain a little extra room. The inside surface is the insulation so care is needed not to tear it up with boots, etc. Had 100’s of moths in them this year from the off-season. No idea how they got in unless through the window weep holes. They were super easy to erect from the back of a truck on 8 ft towers which was the primary reason we went with them. With the price increases and add-on charges, not sure if we would do the same now.

Always liked the idea of an aluminum welded frame. And they've obviously upgraded their website and instructions since the last time I looked. 'Never owned one and probably never will, but I think they could definitely fill a niche between "The Blynd" and ASF (which isn't without faults) and could definitely grow their company in the southern Texas market.

Matt builds a great blind...those are two links where these have been discussed before, I don't want to retype my opinion.

One thing I'll say after the third season...I hate any window that has anything spring loaded in/on it. It's not horrible where I'd sell it tomorrow because the windows, but knowing what I know now...there are much better windows out there from a quiet perspective. I'm about to the point of swapping this blind for a bigger one...I just haven't pulled the trigger on anything yet.

WTN - the moths got in mine too...I put a pest strip in it and everything that has gotten in has died. I will likely put another one in it when I shut things down.
