Using my hand loads in their 24" Super Sniper 6.5 Creedmoor I got some great groups during the first firings. I think I also further dispelled any notions of needing to do voodoo ritual barrel break-in steps. I frankly would consider swapping out a perfectly good 7-08 barrel for one of theirs if they made it in 20" or more. I'm still getting used to the Geissele trigger so I think I can do even better with more practice.

I’m up to three and have yet to have one I wasn’t pleased with. WC is a great company full of really good people that understand customer service.

Yep, looks like yours is going to shoot too. Congrats.

I think I’m going to them for my 5.56 barrel that is reaching the end of it’s life. They’re cheaper than LaRue and there has to be something to the consensus that their customer service is great. I emailed LaRue a simple question weeks ago and they never responded which is slightly disappointing.

I only own one WC barrel, an 18” on my 300 BO with a Geissele trigger and it’s a tack driver.

I have/had several Wilson Combat AR barrels. They have all shot extremely well, the only one I didn't like was a 10 twist 243, too short and too slow a twist to shoot heavy for caliber bullets. I wanted a deer rifle for the kids. Sold it and purchased a 6mm Creedmoor barrel from Wilson Combat, still haven't mounted it up.

I have the same thoughts on their 7-08 barrel. Why would you limit such a great long range round to a barrel of only 18”?

Great shooting btw. Feel free to educate me, but one thing I noticed about this barrel is that it gets warm faster than I thought it would for a heavier profile barrel. Is it because of the fluting or is 6.5C a round that makes barrels heat up faster? I was single loading from a magazine and waiting at least a minute.
