Got Padre on the first buck of his life. Growing up we didn’t have anywhere to deer hunt but he knew I was very interested in hunting and the ourdoors so he made a huge effort to get me outdoors and show me how to shoot. All we had access to growing up was CoE land to hunt rabbits, squirrels & doves. His efforts of taking me outdoors as a child shaped who I am today and my career path. Thanks to him I get to work with wildlife every day and I have opportunity to return the favor he did for me and put him on buck. For me this is what hunting is all about! This is a mature buck we killed last weekend. I almost didn’t recognize him because how skinny he has gotten throughout the rut.
