Not like that. My 5 year old Pudelpointer has killed 3 coyotes while bird hunting. I have only seen it go down once. Had one trot past him at about 30 yards and look back at him and the chase was on. He had it caught by the back of the neck and dead before I reacted. It happened so quick it was over before I could jackknife him off it. When it comes to fur, he has a dark side.

Yes. After posting about that encounter during a Turkey hunt, forum member Rockinmyshoe mailed me a disc with some raw footage of decoys dogs working. I liked what I saw and did some on the hunt training for it with Blaze. I never let it go on as long as in the video posted on this thread with multiple coyotes. Nor was she allowed to engage a dead or wounded coyote. It was more Dances with Wolves kind of encounters. As soon as I whistled Blaze and she was clear, I would take the shot. Unfortunately with those old threads kmon11 posted the servers with the company I had the pictures hosted on burned up in a high rise fire in France, so though I have them backed up, none of the picture links in my old threads exist anymore.

We have always wanted to participate in this. I have an open invite to do so in Utah, and really hoping to make it happen in 2022
