My family always stayed at one of the Spatterdock houses. https://spatterdock.com/index.html Unfortunately Billy Carter passed away in May and I see now there is no duck hunting mentioned on the site anymore either because Billy is gone or because the state banned the permanent duck blinds a few years ago. It's not the best duck hunting, but is such a unique area to hunt that it makes it worth it. There was bad blood with the state taking down those blinds that had been owned by families for generations, so know in some areas it can be like an out of town surfer showing up to a locals only beach. It's been such a long time since I was there last I don't know what the current rules are on the different areas. If I were going back to duck hunt, I would call the local GW and pick his/her brain on the who/where/how.
