I got an email from Spypoint today about ATT and T-Mobile shutting down 3G early next year. They state that 3G cameras will stop connecting the app, and they offer a $69 replacement deal.
I have three Spypoint Link Micros purchased over the last 2 years and I'm not sure if they are 3G or 4G capable. I know they have a model called "Link Micro LTE" that is 4G, but not sure if the non-LTE models are 4G or not. It's really going to suck to have $300 worth of cameras stop working, so I'm hoping mine have 4G capabilities. Anyone know for sure how to tell?

Spent some time on the phone and chat with Spypoint and the story is really twisted. They told me all 3 of my cameras are 3G, even though they say "Link Micro 4G" on the front. I knew 3G was going away when I bought them so I thought I was safe since they said "4G", but support just told me that 4G only uses the 3G signal, and it has to say "LTE" to really be 4G. Very misleading, and dishonest. At least one of my cameras is Verizon 3G and it won't stop working until the end of '22.

Bushnell: Dear Loyal Bushnell Customer,
You are receiving this email because we verified that you have a Bushnell Trophy Cam or Bushnell Aggressor cellular camera that was recently active on your account. Earlier this year AT&T announced its plans to sunset their 3G network to make way for the newer and faster 5G service. This change will obsolete many 3G devices including your Trophy Cam and Aggressor wireless cameras. Once this change is implemented, your cameras will no longer be able to connect to our servers and transmit images. AT&T is currently predicting that service for 3G will end starting as early as February 1, 2022.

Unfortunately this changeover is completely out of our control. However, because you are a valued customer and a long-time subscriber, we are offering you an exclusive opportunity to upgrade your old cameras to our newest and best-selling 4G CelluCORE 20 Trail Cameras at an extremely discounted rate.

Hello All. Hopefully it's ok if I reply/chime in. I have 3 of these Spypoint Link Micro 4G camera's. I've been trying to reach their support but keep getting brushed off, but I'm going to keep after them.
My question to them will be: 1. Why are they classifying these at 3G when it says Link Micro 4G right on it. 2. Has anyone opened up a class action lawsuit against them for false advertisement? Being that they say 4G right on them.
Unfortunately I purchased these just outside of the 2 year timeframe.
