open enrollment runs until Jan 15th so they will be running the commercials for awhile still - about as hokey as it gets -
Funny part is they are all pushing Medicare Advantage plans with zero premiums etc. I have sold health insurance for over 40 years and Advantage plans are great unless you need to use them! Wife and I are on the the Medicare supplement plan G and love it

Funny part is they are all pushing Medicare Advantage plans with zero premiums etc. I have sold health insurance for over 40 years and Advantage plans are great unless you need to use them! Wife and I are on the the Medicare supplement plan G and love it This is what I tell people (keep Medicare and get a supplement). When you get a replacement program, copays and coinsurances pop up and can get expensive (relatively speaking). (Amerigroup and Welmed suck.) I also tell Medicaid patients that if you give up your Texas Medicaid and go with a replacement, you are going to run into issues. (Amerigroup sucks.)
