Anybody ever made their own? Wife’s grandma is going to be selling a place that has numerous sassafras trees on it. Figure I can take advantage while I have the leaves available. Worth it or not? Is a specific leaf out of the different shapes better than others? What does the process really entail?
Property will likely not be up for sale until late spring.

I would assume pick them, dry them and grind them.

Pick them green, dry and grind them. It is trouble but can make as good as you buy.
