I’m looking for a 30-06 hornady match grade die set to buy - and seems like those are all out of stock wherever I have looked. If I am unable to find one, I need an equal quality die set …what would y’all suggest?

Equal, I’d look at Lee or RCBS.

If you want better, I’d look for Redding or Whidden. Good luck…we sometimes get what we can get versus what we want.

RCBS is my even pick with Hornady.

Redding is quality, but often a higher price.

I have Hornady, RCBS, Redding dies. As Judd said, sometimes we get what we can.

I bought 2-3 sets of hornady dies over the years, I’m not impressed at all with them I stick to rcbs, Redding for rifle rounds and prefer rcbs for pistol rounds however I do have some Lee carbide dies for straight wall pistol caliber that work great.

The hornady seating die has produced some of the worst runout I have ever seen I will never buy another set of them.

I’m not sure if you can find them or not now but I have a new unused set of RCBS dies I bought by mistake earlier in the year if you can’t find any.

I sent you a PM about a set of Hornady Custom dies. I like Hornady and RCBS dies equally. I even have several LEE pistol dies that I have been using for 30 years and they still work just fine.

I own RCBS and Hornady... but for the rounds where I really want consistency, I have Redding for the quality. As FJG said.. they are more expensive...
