Who makes the best bottom metal change over for AICS mags for use in the CTR? I’m looking to change 2 rifles to AI mags. Looking for drop in metal and reliable function.

I found a couple others that I’m checking out. Atlasworx, Grayboe and Tikka make them.

Grayboe and atlaworx make quality parts.
JG is correct. Our SA part fits factory t3x stocks not CTR. To fit the narrower inlet, our uses the AI AE MKI 308 magazine — it’s a single stack mag and is not the same as a SA AICS mag. It does allow a longer COAL of 2.96 but is too narrow for short mag cases.
We are working on a new DBM for reg factory t3x inlet that will use AICS mags. Minor stock inlet modification will likely be necessary. Should be ideal for 6.5 prc and WSM builds. Stay tuned.

Our part will work in a 223 but only with the AE AI MKI magazine and there would quite a bit of empty space inside magazine.
