Got the official word today that we have until Jan 4 to be fully vaccinated. We're a healthcare facility, so the temporary stay issued for the OSHA ruling doesn't apply to us. We fall under the CMS mandate that says if you receive Medicare or Medicaid payments, everyone will be fully vaxxed or have an exemption in place, or you're gone. We've got about 550 employees and somewhere around 100 are not vaxxed. I'm guessing out of that 100 there will be some that were waiting until they had to get it, a very few will get a medical exemption, and maybe a few more a religious exemption. After the dust all settles, I'm expecting to see 50 or so employees get the ax. Sucks more than a little.

Yes, I was one of the first to get it. But I'm VERY anti-mandate. I don't think it's the government's place to tell me what to do healthcare wise.

Wife will be put on a 30 day leave 12/5 and then fired 1/4. Nobody cared when the healthcare workers and half the country showed up to work everyday in 2020. Now they must bend the knee or get the ax, for a vaccine that doesn't stop you from getting and/or spreading covid.
So much for my body my choice from the left.

More people need to stand up and say no, but I know not everyone can afford to do that. The president knows good and well that there isnt a healthcare facility in place that can do without medicare/caid payments.

My company falls under the Fed contractor mandate. I applied for a religious accommodation and it got approved.

All of this is a long way from settled in the courts.

There are a lot of folks out there that made the decision to get the jab for their own personal health care reasons, that do not believe in the federal government forcing people to do so through a mandate. I respect those people. Your body your choice, and none of my business. Those out there (including a few on here) that believe in forcing people to comply via a mandate - their livelihoods be damned, I have zero respect for.

There are multiple law suits being filed that ask the federal govt. contractors/workers mandate be halted as well.......they will make it to court and be halted before the deadline IMO.........

I'm not anti-vax. I've had flu shots, shingles shots, etc. I'm anti whatever the Hell this crap Fauci & Company are saying is a vaccine that is causing a lot of side effects.

I agree Sir. The problem is non compliers (for whatever reason) are being treated MUCH differently on many levels, and I have a problem with that. I've had covid, but am given no choice in the US to show proof of immunity (like other countries). It's either comply, or suffer the consequences.
