My 85 year old mother who has a hard time walking up her walkway and wants nothing more than to live independently as long as possible. She wanted a handrail built and to repair and replace the concrete in front of her home. Between the HOA and Plano permitting department it took 5 months for approval. At one point The City of Plano charged her $145 for a permit inspection while knowing that she did not need a permit ( 4 months of calls and emails trying to get this answer. Gutit called the City and demanded they return the money in which they did. Once we had approval from the HOA Gutit scheduled it and was punctual and beyond professional. My mom is one of those folks that makes requests outside the scope of the job, which I told her not to BUT. Anyway Kent was beyond professional and kind to my mom that we have tremendous gratitude. In 2017 Stronghold Construction performed a complete rehab of my lake home and the quality of work was first class. I am very thankful for the friends and relationships made on this forum.

It’s a pleasure to hear about the good guys in this business. Kudos to GUTIT.
I could name a couple of crooks and cowards doing metal buildings and construction in the Hallsville and Longview area that should have their sack slit.

I apologize if I’ve missed a call or haven’t got back to you quickly. My father had a stroke and I’ve been dealing with that. Just got back to if hard yesterday. Give me a shout today.

It was an absolute pleasure my good friend. Momma Ramsey is the salt of the earth. Still drives herself around and sharp as a tack. Thanks for the kind words Amigo

Cool, Plano Inspection and the Chief Building Inspectors are easy to deal with, Interesting to hear you were having issues.

That's a good looking handrail. Are the verticals set in concrete? I think I'm close to doing that for a relative and I've been pondering on exactly how to do it and make it look good.
Silver spurs and gold tequila keep me hanging on. Pretty girls and old cantinas give me shelter from the storm.

Gutit built my deck the same way. Entire frame is metal with cedar on top. Top notch, hell that frame will probably out last my house. Bud you’re looking old with that beard going on I got told the same thing a week ago so just passing it on.
