As most of you know who follow closely, I'm looking for a bolt action .223. As I shop, ALL I see are 6.5 Creedmoor's, NO .223's dammit all I see are 6.5 Creedmoor's. we've created a monster

I had been looking for a 223 bolt gun as well, just a cheap one to ride around in the truck like a old 700 ADL or a Ruger American and they were pretty much unobtainable. Ended up going with a 308 instead, but I did also notice that most of the rifles were six five creedmoor. The only problem is you can buy 223 ammo but not a gun or you can buy 65 creedmoor rifle but no ammo LOL, that's where we're at I guess

It does what the 6.5X55 and 260 Remington can do with a little less powder. You misspelled 6.5 saum  I had a Gaymoor before they were cool (had being the operative word)...if you don't reload they are a great option but it's the man bun, 2Beez fancy jeans and white sunglasses that I just can't accept.
