Picked up my 1st “new age muzzleloader” and maaannnn I’m in love! I’ve been shooting the Kentuckian percussion rifle that my granddad left me years ago. While I can accurately shoot it out to 80 yards, this new gun is crazy accurate! I put a vortex crossfire 3x9x 50 straight wall scope on it. My 1st shot today was about 1” low and and 3” right. A quick adjustment and it was balls on. I took another 3 shots just to be sure and she was drilling quarters at 130 yards! I’m running 245 grain Powerbelts, 2 Whitehot pellets, and 209 primers. Can’t wait to get her in the woods!

I bought one after Christmas too. I put a Vortex Diamondback 4x12x40 scope on it. Currently running the 245 gr Powerbelt with 777 pellets and 209 primer. I have it sighted in 1 1/2 inches high at 50 yds. Should be good out to 200 yds.

I have an Accura and have not shot it yet. I did get a scope for it the other day. I’ll have to say, I wish all my guns had the trigger that thing has. Can’t wait to test it for real and not just to let the hammer down softly.

I'm looking at getting this one as well. Anyone try Blackhorn powder in the Accura MR-X?

I'm thinking about doing Blackhorn powder with the Variflame adapter so it can use large rifle primers.
