Friday evening I had stripped down and was sitting on the pot before getting into the shower. I felt a tickle on the top of my left foot and looked down to see this guy crawling across the top of my foot. I brushed it off and snapped a couple pics for ID in case I was bitten. I didn’t feel anything and No symptoms yet so I don’t think it bit me. Definitely got my attention when I first looked down. I got nailed by a Brown R once - my boss sent me to the doctor when I came into work a couple hours later. He was like - you got hit by something bad - that does not look good! Go NOW! I got some meds, immediately, but It turned into about a tennis ball size growth around my elbow and the stuff that came out was not for the weak of heart.

I helped a friend move some boxes out of his attic many years ago. Never saw a spider, but a couple of hours later I had a spot on my left forearm that was tender, swollen, and red. By the next morning I had a tennis ball sized lump growing. Went to ER and they said probably brown recluse. Lanced and removed all the dead skin. It drained a ton of really nasty stuff for several days. Hard core antibiotics and I healed, but still have a scar there. I do not like spiders.
