I don't know navarro county so take this with a grain of salt, in my neck of the woods I would call that one a solid 3-4yo buck. prob 4, but given the lack of neck size, and the cold temps this am he may be a fluffed up 3 for sure.
Score wise, he won't be huge, barely outside the ears and small tined 10, makes me think he is prob more of a 3 than a 4. but the geography may play a significant role here and mess me up

Hard to tell with those pics but maybe 4 and 120s.
At some point in life its time to quit chasing the pot of gold and just enjoy the rainbow. FR Keep your gratitude higher than your expectations. RWH

Maybe a 4 year old...hard to say.
Low 120's would be my guess. Needs a few more years.
Best thing he has going is antler 'mass' for your region.
Will be a nice one in a couple more years or so.

Will be a nice one in a couple more years or so. This was my conclusion as well. I've shot tons of does and pigs, a spike and a small 6 with my bow...so it took a good 5+ minutes to talk myself into putting the bow down and picking up the camera. I just hope my neighbors will do the same.

Where you hunt, will anyone else get a shot at this deer or can you "protect" him for a couple years?? He's huge body wise, Rack will be HUGE, just looking at his face tells me he's too young. Hopefully you hunt a place where he can grow. Not many places like this in Navarro County I imagine.

Hopefully you hunt a place where he can grow. Not many places like this in Navarro County I imagine. I let him walk knowing that there's a good chance he won't make it until next year. One of our neighbors has the same mentality as we do, however, there are 3 small acreage neighbors that probably won't let him walk. I've watched this guy dogging our does for the last 2 weeks, and he's the biggest thing I've personally seen this year. We've got 2 bigger Bucks that have shown up on camera, but nobody has seen them personally. I may never see this guy again after today. It's happened quite a few times with a few promising bucks the last few years. For now, I'll keep taking my chances on letting th 3 year olds walk. I'll admit, I was extremely tempted. He would have been my biggest bow buck by a long shot. I can take solace knowing I had him dead. All I had to do was hit the release. If he's still around next year and I get a shot, he won't be so lucky.

Good looking but younger deer. I’d give him another year or two but don’t know how much pressure is around your place.... Regardless if you shoot him or just watch him he’s a good looking buck....

If nothing else, you have given the buck a chance to spread his gene and hopefully to a few does that produce well. At least increasing your odds for the future.

Looks like a well fed 3.5 year old to me and in the 120ish range
High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!
