I watched a video on You Tube about composting dead folks. They put you in a cylinder covered with a cotton sheet and organic material plants flowers and such and the cylinder has ventilation and in 30 days your compost. Any bones left they grind up like when you're cremated and throw it in the compost. It's only legal in three states, Washington, Oregon and Colorado, If my cremation wasn't already paid for they could sign me up. I'm not a big tree hugger but this has to be better for the world than wasting real estate for years and years or burning natural gas for three hours to dispose of your carcass.
Thoughts?

There is time, and you must take it, to lay your hand on your dog's head as you walk past him lying on the floor or on his settle, time to talk with him, to remember with him, time to please him, time you can't buy back once he's gone" GBE

I wouldn't have a problem with it. I had to have a horse put down several years ago and that’s how the vet disposed of the body

In the end, it's not the years in your life that count, it's the life in your years.

I'm in. I've taken enough from the earth that it seems right to complete the cycle.

Yep. Why anyone cares what is done with their body when they die is beyond me. If it can be put to use, go for it.

I used to love her
But I had to kill her
I used to love her, Mm, yeah
But I had to kill her
I had to put her six feet under
And I can still hear her complain

I used to love her, Oo, yeah

But I had to kill her
I knew I'd miss her
So I had to keep her
She's buried right in my backyard
Oh yeah, Oo yeah, whoa, oh yeah

And now I'm happier this way, yeah

They have a body farm in the Balcones Canyon lands in Texas. I wouldn’t mind being donated if I died of natural causes.

I'll be content to die while running my trap line and the animals consume me. Giving back what I've taken.

I agree with your way of thinking, Except I want to be eaten by sharks. I've killed and eaten quite a few. Now it's your turn. Have at it. up

I do not want a spot in a cemetery that costs money, that my Kids & Grandkids are going to cry over forever.

Nope.

The way life has worked out for me, if I had full on graveyard funeral, if someone didn't hire mourners and criers, nobody would be there anyway. roflmao
