What small or everyday items have you found to have the greatest and most surprising price increase as a result of inflation and supply chain issues.

Something that caught my eye while in Academy earlier today was that Jet Boil cookers are not selling for $120. I was thinking about buying one last year for use in the deer blind and would swear they were around $80 at the time.

Everyone keeps talking about fuel prices going up, but honestly they go up and down every year. I keep track of all my fill ups, and it's not as bad as everyone's saying, IMO.

I'll try keeping everything in early October with date's filled up to stay somewhat consistant, at least for the time of year. This is price per gallon of diesel...

Oct. 10, 2021 - $2.999 / gal diesel
Oct. 9, 2020 - $1.859
Oct. 11, 2019 - $2.599
Oct. 12, 2018 - $2.999
Oct. 8, 2017 - $2.499
Oct. 10, 2016 - $2.199
Oct. 11, 2015 - $2.129
Oct. 13, 2014 - $3.599
Oct. 10, 2013 - $3.659

Prices are up on almost everything and nothing surprising. You can’t run the country like the current WH resident, or should I say his controllers and expect anything different. I say buckle up, because the real S show hasn’t even begun.

Even though I don't reload ammo, I don't believe I'll ever just throw away another empty cartridge. Even shots made in the field will be picked up and later thrown in the recycle bin at the range.

Just wait until the idiots who voted for him find out how much Democratic spending has increased their taxes.

Cooking oil is up pretty good. I am hearing some people say its doubled in the last few months. I use vegetable oil to fry fish. Was paying $4.44 per gallon a few months ago. Then it jumped to $5.60 a few weeks ago and now its at $7.60ish today.

Biggest shock came when me and Dad stopped at Bucks in Sweetwater to eat. Their big chicken fried steak use to be $14.99 a few weeks ago. It took a $10 leap over night and now will cost you $25. scared

We ate at Popo's in Welfare Sunday, after church. (Son-in-law paid.) 'Saw on the menu that a Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich was...$17.00. eek2

I went to Academy the other day looking for 7 mm mag or .270 ammo nada and the man said they have not had it in a while.

So my Crocs are about worn out so I thought about buying another pair until I saw the $59.99 price tag for cheap holey shoes.

Not an everyday item, but I was shocked to find out that my 2014 Subaru today, is worth close to what I paid for it in 2016. I've had it 5 years and 40,000 miles and it's within a $1000.
