Went to deer woods this wknd to top off feeders, check cameras for pics and watch for deer Mostly just get away for the wknd. Eliminated a couple coyotes and some ground tearing up hogs. Saw bucks marking trees, making scrapes and playfully chasing does already. Thought it was a little early, but what I saw. Just a question, can you use fmj on hogs?? All I had were ballistic tips, hard to kill a hog with a 55 gr BTBT. But when they are charging towards you at 05:30(dark thirty), you utilize what you have at hand…..
My Yote toys, Ruger 77 22-250 Foxpro 416B & numerous hand calls ************ God would never send Firefighters to Hell because we would put the fire out!

You can use anything on hogs, FMJ won’t mushroom and will most likely go right through but an ear hole shot will still get it done

Biggest hog I’ve ever personally seen killed (~275 lbs) was killed with a single 62 gr green tip to the chest from about 30-40 yds. Ran maybe 5-10 yds and dropped dead. Saw it happen.
