We got a pretty good rain here in Temple last night and had a total of 3.1 inches of rain at our house. I saw some videos of some flooding in Killeen and smarties flooding their cars.

How much did everyone else see? I'm hoping my food plots outside of Fairfield got a little, but doesn't look like it made it out that way.

Got 5.9 here in Seguin according to the interweb. I haven't checked our rain gauge yet. Had to move some cows out of our flooded lower field. Creek is up about 150 yds out of its bank and probably washed my fence down. Haven't seen it this high since '98.

5.5 just north of NB. This little watershed is somewhere near the 3-4 ft mark over the drive and, from the debris line, likely receded 5-6 ft already.

Just canceled my morning walk. Maybe later.

Edit: Watching TV now. Saving my book in case I lose power.

Me too, Biscuit. 2.25” here. I was gonna shred some low ground today, but I guess that’ll have to wait.

I grew up in Lee County Arkansas. Is there still a statue of Robert E Lee in front of the courthouse? confused2

No statue in Lee County Texas. Don't know about Lee County Arkansas. Used to have some distant relatives in Arkansas. One of my ancestors was President of the University of Arkansas.

Sounds right missingAK.
We only had 3 or a tad over in my gauge at the front of our little place but will check the back this evening as it usually gets significantly more. lol
5+ in most post around us though and my cousin's place is less than 2 miles to the east and he had 5.4.
I know there was water everywhere at 5:30 this morning from Seguin to NB that is for sure!

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

This weather setup reminded me of ‘98 when the wether geek started talking about it. Same time of year, except we got 30” in a weekend.

40% chance of rain that day. Moisture from a pacific disturbance came across the mountains and met up with a stalled cold front. It was mind numbing. I was shaken like a TX lite resident at an ethics seminar.

Had my RV parked at the place on the river in Seguin, didn’t take the advice to come and get it. Who woulda thunk a 30’ TT would float?
