The mutt pulls me 1.2 miles every morning around 7:15 and sometimes we go to the park a little later.

I made it to the fridge, bathroom (3 times) , coffee pot and back to my room.

Quite a while back there was this young gal who had her dog doing just that, I did not see it happen but was told she had a bad wipe out and no one has seen her since?

We go early, five days a week. I walk, she runs. It's about two miles, round trip.

It was 57 here this morning, light jacket time.

Cool here in the office, but I get a little winded on my trips to the bathroom out in the hall between calls/projects.

The longest I got from my house this afternoon without my gator was to go get the mail.

I take a 2 mile walk almost every morning. Except on one day a week when I play golf.

I try to go in the morning and evening

When you raise Ibex, try to keep coyotes out, shred weeds, work on roads, keep up the fences, and all the other stuff it takes keeping up with a place you don't need any mid day walk.

Surprisingly I do a lot of walking, almost everyday, my walking takes place on the ranch, I'm always hunting arrowheads. It never fails that I'll see a place I want to check out and from there I'll see another and before long I turn around and I'm a mile or so from the truck. This ain't sidewalk strolling either, I cuss myself from time to time for not paying attention. These cool morning have been pleasant but humping the draws and hill's in July and August can be brutal. Might add that I nearly always find some nice pieces of chert/flint to work on and that has to be hauled back. I tried using a light backpack to haul the rock back but ended up picking up too much rock and would wear my old arse out, now I just carry a few pieces out.

I'm getting out this morning if it is only busy work.

I walked from 5:30 am till 7 am, Got home took shower went the Texas State Fair and walked from 10 am till 6 pm.

I am not walking today
