To eat or not to eat.....That is the question! For me if will not make a difference with my lower end. If I eat I have to drop peanut butter just before daylight, and the same goes if I do not eat. So I usually eat a big bait of breakfast, coffee, a dr pepper, and water. Since I stay in my blind all day and my butt has a mind of its own, I'll take lots of food with me for the day. But like you I'm really excited to get out there opening ay and see what happens. When I sit in my blind, the deer really seem to llike what I feed (indian corn) and stay at the feeder longer....
I feed Indian Corn, the deer really seem to like it and stay at the feeder longer......and longer....!

This thread is funny to me because I just read the one about getting in shape for hunting season. Sounds like Little Debbie should make a doe in estrus snack cake. Breakfast and cover scent.

Apparently we are getting bored, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. Even resorted to fishing. 10 of us caught 1500 lbs. of fish off Grand Isle on a 24 hr. trip Mon. Boy, are my arms sore.

Usually a quick cup of Folgers and a little debbie snack before heading out. After the am hunt, it's time for a 3 egg ziplock bag omlet. Got to have ham, onions, cheese mushrooms, salt and pepper. Boy can't beat those things at the deer lease, yum yum!!!!!! Very little clean up if any!

We all need to buy stock in Little Debbie. I buy the groceries for our lease, and I have to buy 3 different varieties of Little Debbies to keep everyone happy.
Sausage gravy, biscuits and bacon for breakfast for us...after the hunt.

I usually have a diet mountain dew ready on top of the ice on the cooler from the night before. We go to two a day meals at deer camp, breakfast late morning and supper after the evening hunt. Just fits better

We do deer sausage and gravy on top of some biscuits with a side of eggs. Head out with a thermos of black coffee. Good times.
