Any one else keeping up with this?

AL wild card is insane with four teams vying for two spots (Boston, Yankees, Jays, Seattle). I’m hoping for Boston or the Yankees to make It to the division series because I’ll be going to game 1 in Tampa on October 7. Boston and Nee York start a weekend series against each other tonight. Should be great baseball.

Over on the NL side, when I went to the St Louis game in July 30th they were a game under .500 if I remember right and not even looked at as a playoff team with like 3% chance to make It. Today they have a 12 game winning streak and up 2-0 right now for their 13th. They are sitting as the second wild card team and up 4.5 games on the Phillies. Pretty incredible.

Braves fan here - not a great season, and hamstrung after losing our best player, but hanging in there with a 2-game lead in the NL East. Not sure they'll make it far in the playoffs, but still hope they get there - never know what could happen once you are there.

After the trade deadline I thought the Yankees were going to run away with things. They were killing It for a while.

Yep 13 in a row then run off a string of 3-10...bats really go cold at times. Orioles and other dogs have pounded them.
They are also the kinda club that can peel off a lot of wins with big bombs IF they get hot
I was in Vegas couple months ago when they were imploding. I’d won some money on crap tables so I checked odds on NYY to win WS....it was 26-1 so for grins I got a 500$ ticket on em.....

There weeks ago the Cards were about 4 games back in the WC. They were scheduled to play some of the teams ahead of them. I thought to myself, sure would be nice to go on a ten game win streak. Dream came true!!

They did have a possible big injury today though. SS Sosa took a ball to his wrist and it didn't look good.

Everyone root for the Dodgers for me. Earlier this year I won a contest to were i could pick a team and if that team made it to the world series id win a trip to either a world series game or next years all star game in a private box with travel included. I went with the Vegas odds and chose the Dodgers.
